purchased this for my son who just turned 3- he may fit in it for another year- he is currently 3 1/2 ft tall and 40 lbs, so I doubt provide use thru age range/wt described. It looks nice, except in dirct light you can see the yellow undercoat of the 'brown leather' dye used, making the finish uneven in places, and that is a bit tacky. on the bright side my son does love the chair and sits in in frequently. I only wish the base was heavier, since he occasionally tips it over trying to get the foot rest up, or just being a kid and leaning way back.
