The chair is very comfortable (I tried it out myself) and very classy. It matches our regular furniture well and our 1 year old loves it. The footrest is difficult to open, even for my five year old so I have to help with that but I don't mind. It stays reclined once it's in the position. I do recommend Scotchguarding it to prevent staining it. Overall, we LOVE it.

The chair is good looking, great color and fabric, and reclines easily. My 3yr old son enjoys watching T.V. in it. I do think the chair should recline further back and it should be more soft and cushiony but it's a nice chair for the price.

the picture shows a tan color for merlot, but when we received it the color was a reddish, chocolate brown.We were disappointed but over all the chair is great.
